The next moon day is Tuesday the 26th of March. For those of you who might notice that most calendars say it is on Wednesday the 27th, and even some yoga studios, the reason is as follows: In the Vedic system the day starts at 600 am rather than midnight. So occasionally when a moon day falls between those two times, the moon day is bumped back a day in the Vedic system. This is an excellent example as the moon is at 220 am.
For anyone new to the practice the important bit is when doing daily practice we take off the new and full moons and there is no morning Mysore class on those days. I will post something else in a moment that talks a little more about why.
Regards and see you all soon,
